"The Refresher Course" 2 classes @ 1.5 hours each

The Yoga Doula

If you've had a baby before and understand the physiology behind childbirth, but would like to refresh yourself and ensure that you and your partner are prepared this time around, then this is the class for you!

This private class can be done in the comfort of your own home via Facetime or Zoom or even in person, if you live close enough. The class consists of 2 sessions that are 1.5 hours each and I will cover whatever it is that you feel you need to review or learn that you may have missed the first time(s) around. We can talk beforehand so that I can tailor the class to your individual needs. 

Topics may include, but are not limited to:

  • Nutrition & Exercise 
  • Navigating the Stages of Labor
  • Roles of Hormones & How to facilitate them 
  • Common Interventions & Protocols 
  • Comfort Techniques
  • Labor Rehearsal
  • How to write a birth plan
  • Breastfeeding
  • Postpartum Care

Along with the three hours of classes, I will provide handouts via email, and be available via phone to answer any questions you may have before, during, or after your class.

I have been teaching this class for around seven years with great results. The class is very interactive and tailored to each mother-to-be, since it's a private class and we can get personal! It is always evolving as I learn more myself and continue to further my own education and stay on op of current research surrounding childbirth.
